August 24, 2021 – The Metropolitan Opera today announced that it had reached agreement with the Union representing its orchestra, paving the way for the Opera to reopen in September.

Lakewood Advisors Managing Director Edward Grebow served as Financial Advisor to the Orchestra and Music Staff members during its reopening negotiations with Metropolitan Opera management.

Commenting on the announcement, Grebow said: “The Met is one of New York’s most esteemed cultural venues and we are pleased to have played a role in helping the MET reopen after the pandemic kept it closed for more than a year.
